Beneficiaries should be Indian citizens, landholding farmers in India, and meet certain exclusion criteria (e.g., constitutional posts, former/current ministers, retired government employees with pension above ₹10,000, all superannuated/retired pensioners and members of families of serving or retired officers of the Central/State government departments, etc.).
